ID For Me uses FDA compliant, medical-grade adhesive on all products. The adhesive is acrylic-based and does not contain latex.
Warning: Do not apply to broken skin or near eyes.
We suggest that when you are applying your ID For Me Temporary Tattoo, talk to your child about safety, and the significance of their personalised ID For Me Tattoo.
How to apply your ID For Me Temporary Tattoos:
1). Ensure your child's skin is clean and dry and free from sunscreen. Please note that applying sunscreen on or near the temporary tattoo will break down the adhesive component.
2). Carefully peel the clear transfer sheet away from the coloured side of the temporary tattoo.
3). With dry hands, press and hold firmly in place on your child's arm for one minute so your body heat can set the tattoo to his or her skin. This is probably the most important step to a good application!
4). Use a damp cloth and wet the back of the temporary tattoo. As the water soaks in, the tattoo will become visible through the paper. Within about 30 seconds, the paper will soon easily slip from your child's temporary tattoo. Let the tattoo dry thoroughly. This can take several minutes. Please be sure your ID For Me tattoo is dry before covering with clothing (or sheets/blankets).
If your tattoo still seems sticky after you have wet it and slipped the paper off, simply add more water to the top. This is just residual adhesive from the protective paper you have removed. How to Remove your ID For Me Temporary Tattoos:
You can remove your child's temporary tattoo with baby oil or rubbing alcohol. Be sure to wash the area with soap and water before applying another temporary tattoo. Your ID For Me Tattoo can last from one to several days. If you have sensitive skin and have received a rash from band-aids or adhesives you may want to leave your tattoo on for only a few hours. You can shower with your tattoo, but do not scrub - just rinse lightly to keep clean.
